ACE Stages and Statuses - Reference

A quick reference for every stage and status you'll encounter when co-selling through AWS ACE. Use this to understand where your opportunity stands and what action, if any, is required from you.


Opportunity Stages

ACE uses 7 stages to track deal progress. These map to your Salesforce opportunity stage via flow's field mapping.

ACE Stage

What it means

Prospect

Opportunity submitted. AWS is reviewing for co-sell eligibility.

Qualified

AWS has validated the opportunity and assigned it to a field team.

Technical Validation

AWS is evaluating the technical fit of your solution for the customer.

Business Validation

Commercial discussions are underway with AWS involvement.

Committed

Both parties are actively working toward closing the deal.

Launch

The deal is closed and the customer is onboarding your solution.

Closed Lost

The opportunity did not close. No further co-sell activity.


Review Statuses

Review Status

What it means

User next steps

Pending Approval

Submitted to AWS, awaiting review

None - wait for AWS response

Approved

AWS has accepted the opportunity for co-sell

You can now update and sync freely

Action Required

AWS needs more information before proceeding

Open the opportunity in flow and complete the flagged fields

Rejected

AWS declined the opportunity

Review the rejection reason and resubmit if applicable

Expired

The opportunity was inactive and closed by AWS

Resubmit if the deal is still active


How flow surfaces these in Salesforce

flow reflects the current ACE stage and review status directly on the opportunity record in Salesforce via the flow Assistant component.
