ACE Stages and Statuses - Reference
A quick reference for every stage and status you'll encounter when co-selling through AWS ACE. Use this to understand where your opportunity stands and what action, if any, is required from you.
Opportunity Stages
ACE uses 7 stages to track deal progress. These map to your Salesforce opportunity stage via flow's field mapping.
ACE Stage | What it means |
Prospect | Opportunity submitted. AWS is reviewing for co-sell eligibility. |
Qualified | AWS has validated the opportunity and assigned it to a field team. |
Technical Validation | AWS is evaluating the technical fit of your solution for the customer. |
Business Validation | Commercial discussions are underway with AWS involvement. |
Committed | Both parties are actively working toward closing the deal. |
Launch | The deal is closed and the customer is onboarding your solution. |
Closed Lost | The opportunity did not close. No further co-sell activity. |
Review Statuses
Review Status | What it means | User next steps |
Pending Approval | Submitted to AWS, awaiting review | None - wait for AWS response |
Approved | AWS has accepted the opportunity for co-sell | You can now update and sync freely |
Action Required | AWS needs more information before proceeding | Open the opportunity in flow and complete the flagged fields |
Rejected | AWS declined the opportunity | Review the rejection reason and resubmit if applicable |
Expired | The opportunity was inactive and closed by AWS | Resubmit if the deal is still active |
How flow surfaces these in Salesforce
flow reflects the current ACE stage and review status directly on the opportunity record in Salesforce via the flow Assistant component.
